Welcome!

I'M RABBI ANDREA.

Read about my "why"  ➝

WHY JEWISH COACHING? AND WHY JEWISHPATHS?

I'm a post-denominational community rabbi with a Ph.D. in religion (Judaic Studies/specialization in rabbinic literature), a certified Prepare/Enrich premarital & marriage enrichment facilitator, and a Certified Spiritual Life Coach. I hold FLOURISH certification in mindfulness for Jewish communal professionals through the Institute for Jewish Spirituality, and have been trained as a Jewish matchmaker by Effective Matchmaking.

The one thing I will never do is judge another's Jewish choices. In fact, JewishPaths™ Life Coaching is based on a completely non-judgmental model. More about that in a moment!

I primarily serve unaffiliated Jews, Jewish interfaith couples, and those who want to know more about Judaism on a practical level. I created and designed JewishPaths™ to fill these needs in the Jewish community.

The JewishPaths™ system is an eight-part journey through the many key spheres of Jewish life. Based on coaching principles, its goal is to help Jewish seekers understand the elements of Jewish life, belief, ritual, foundational Jewish texts, the life cycle, the holidays, and Jewish communities so they can design a meaningful Jewish life that works for them.

In JewishPaths™ courses and individual or group coaching, no single Jewish path or denomination is privileged, and we will never tell you what to do. Instead, throughout our time together, students and clients come to better understand the wide variety of ways to be Jewish and ultimately, to do Jewish in this complex, multicultural world.

What clients are saying...

"Rabbi Andrea has helped me think consciously about what I do and how I do it, seamlessly guiding me from the highest levels of meaning—how I want to live my life—to the most mundane details required to push past confusion and assert control over my actions. In her coaching, Andrea’s questions effortlessly range from the big-picture questions—What is your purpose? What are your goals?—to the nitty-gritty of drawing up a to-do list."

-Larry Y.

"R’ Andrea’s coaching played a pivotal role in my personal growth and development journey. I have gained a deeper understanding of my values and strengths, and have been able to set clear goals for myself. Her focused support and encouragement helped me navigate through a challenging crossroad, and I am truly grateful for the positive impact she has had."

-J. Naomi

“We feel so fortunate and grateful to have had Rabbi Andrea officiate at our wedding . The time and care she spent with us prior to the wedding, to know us and was open to answer all of our questions. Making our wedding truly special for us and to have shared this sacred moment with her, her knowledge and experience guiding us. To guide us through all the steps lead to a wonderful joyful experience that we shared with our family and friends exceeding our expectations in every way. The ceremony was perfectly customized with us keenly in mind. Rabbi Andrea, is so warm and professional, and thoughtfully helped us prepare for our ceremony. Having the process explained thoroughly, she wove tradition, spirituality, and personal anecdotes seamlessly. The words resonated with everyone present, creating a beautiful atmosphere. We’re grateful to have shared this sacred moment knowing we honoured our love and tradition fully. Thank you, Rabbi Andrea for making our union unforgettable. With love and gratitude.”
